Home Decor Frame with JFF Stamps

Wednesday, August 27, 2014
Made this frame for JFF stamps blog post but when my husband saw it, he requested to have it so he can put it in his office! My husband is very supportive of my passion for crafting but he is not a very artsy person himself, meaning he doesn't appreciate art as much as we all do. So for him to be falling in love with this piece of art that I made, I'm beyond happy! Here is the frame decor...

Stamped and colored with alcohol inks

Frame from Michaels store, if you choose to use the same frame I suggest to add a little weight to the bottom of the frame as the frame itself is too light to withstand the wind blow or simply a gentle force. :)

Supplies:
- Just For Fun Stampss Sun, Moon and Star
- Frame from Michaels
- Martha Stewart Punch
- Spectrum Noir Alcohol Inks

Appreciate your visit, thank you! Have an awesome day!

Xyron and Perfect Paper Crafting Blog Hop!

Monday, August 18, 2014
Hello all, happy Monday to you! Welcome to kick start the Xyron and Perfect Paper Crafting blog hop week, for the complete list of designers for today please see the bottom of post.

Today I want to share with you three cards that I made using Xyron adhesives and Perfect Paper Crafting's Perfect AirBrush!

I ran the cut out butterflies through Xyron 1.5" Sticker Machine, adhered it on the white card stock before air-brushed it with Perfect AirBrush. I used Tim Holtz Distress Makers for the Perfect AirBrush.

Air-brushed the top and bottom of the stamped image, peeled off the butterflies and gorgeous silhouettes appeared!

This card is easier, just mask out the corner where you don't want it to get sprayed. For this card I used regular water-color brush with Perfect AirBrush, you have to hold the brush with the other hand instead of placing it in the Perfect AirBrush marker's holder. The result is about the same.

Assembly card with Xyron Adhesive Dots for the butterflies, 1.5" Sticker Maker for the title and Xyron Mega Runner for adhering front card to card base.

Another project sample of using Perfect AirBrush with regular water-color brush and distress markers,  the splattered background is also created with the Perfect AirBrush! See picture below.

The background of the title bar with stamped flowers is air-brushed with distress markers.

Supplies/Products Used:
- Just For Fun Rubber Stamps
- Core'dinations' Card Stocks
- CutCardStock Card Stocks
- Inkadinkado White Embossing Powder
- Ranger Mini Distress Ink Pads
- Ranger Distress Markers

Back To School - Crayons Holder

Sunday, August 17, 2014
Hello all! Sharing with you today is a DIY crayons holder I made for Xyron's Back To School week. Step by step instruction is provided.

Tutorial starts here:

Step 1: Trim a piece of card board (I used one of those boxes from USPS) to the size of a 12 x 12 patterned card stock that you decide to use as the background of the holder.

Step 2: Adhere card stock on top of the trimmed 12 x 12 cardboard

Step 3: Cut the holder's templates (I designed and cut these with my Cameo)

Step 4: Fold the templates

Step 5: Apply adhesives (I used Xyron  1/4" double sided tape) to all the edges

Step 6: Adhere holders to the 12 x 12 card board from Step 2

Step 7: Cut embellishments (I designed and cut these cute color labels with my Cameo)

Step 8: Run the cut outs through  Xyron 2.5" Sticker Maker

Step 9: Embellish the holders with the cut outs and holder background with card stock stickers, card stock strips/borders, etc. Anything your heart desires! :)

This is how it looks like when it's done.

Love You Everyday Layout

Wednesday, August 13, 2014
Today I'm sharing a layout I created using Clear Scraps August Kit and Just For Fun Rubber Stamps, I love the acrylic banners included in the kit and I can't help to create a layout with it. The Chalk Studio card stock from MME makes perfect background for the banners!

I stamped and embossed some cornflower images using JFF Stamp in the background and stenciled some larger flowers (which later I used it as embellishment - ones in pink) with white chalk inks. The larger flowers are cut-outs using the patterned card stock in the kit.

I designed some banners that fit just the size of the acrylic banners with letters "L", "O", "V" and E" on each of them. Then stick it over the stamped flower images with foam stickers so you can see stamped image through the cut out letters.

Embellish away! I stamped a butterfly image and colored it with alcohol markers.

Cut out title {heart} you everyday

Mini Album with Clear Scraps

Friday, August 8, 2014
Today I'm sharing a mini album that I made with the tag chipboard album that is included in the Clear Scraps August kit. Again, I love the Chalk Studio collection card stock in this kit, the prints on the card stock allows you to cut it out and use it as embellishments on your project!
Here is the mini album...

This is the cover, I basically cut most of my embellishments out from the cardstocks such as the flowers, butterflies, banners and the pink polka dots at the bottom.

I also used a doilie as stencil and applied modeling paste over it.

Followings are the pages inside the album.
