Luminary Box For Creativation Last Week

Monday, January 29, 2018
Creativation was over last week and I wish I could be there with other of "my" (crafty) people. Often not many people gets why we do what we do, only we who enjoy it truly understand the joy it offers. Most of them time our hobby is perceived as time-wasting but to us it's actually fulling, therapeutic, aspiring in our life. Anyway, hope someday I'd be able to reunite with all crafty people out there!

I made this luminary box for the convention, which you could probably see it in some pictures posted on Crafter's Companion FB. I hot glued a tea light to the bottom of the box leaving the switch on the outside so it can be turned on and off easily. The pattern on the top was colored with Spectrum Noir Aqua Markers (one of the best watercolor markers ever!).

Words Only Card

Wednesday, January 24, 2018
Hi all! Hope you had a good time during the previous HSN shows for Crafter's Companion (apart from burning a hole in your pocket - lol). Sharing a card I created for last HSN today, this is by far one of my favorite cards! No patterned paper, stamps or embellishments to make this card, only the word sentiment dies from Crafter's Companion and their awesome luxury glitter cardstocks! I simple cut strips of glitter cardstock and matching sentiments and glue them on top of the same color cardstock. Yes, it is that simple and simple can also be beautiful. What do you think?

Supplies:
- Die'sire Words Only Die (Friends and Family Set)
- Die'sire Words Only Die (Celebration Set)
- Crafter's Companion Luxury Cardstock Assortment Pack
- Gemini Junior

Sheena's Beautiful Destinations Stamp Set

Saturday, January 20, 2018
I've always like motivational or inspirational quotes and Sheena has came up with the perfect stamps I'd been looking for. From now on I can craft with my favorite quotes and send them to ones I hold close to my heart (other than my super awesome best friend hubby, I have a BFF who lives far across the globe and I think she would appreciate something like this like I do).

Don't you just love the hot balloon, I think I could do better with the coloring though (shading and all). The sentiment/title at the bottom is from the same stamp set! I used some cloud dies to create the stenciled background and love how it turned out.

Btw, have you heard? Crafter's Companion is coming on HSN again in March 7th! It's so exciting, all the DT members are working on the beautiful projects now to share with you soon. Hang on tight and mark the calendar so you won't miss the show!

I Love You So Much Valentine's Card

Sunday, January 14, 2018
Valentine's day is in a month, are you planning anything for your special someone on this special day? My husband and I don't do much, we usually go out with the kids (yep!) to have dinner together. They were a year or two where there was just us both, that atmosphere and feeling were totally different. I hope we can find a babysitter this year so we could go dating like we used to before we had kids!

I made this card with a Colorista coloring page and used the stamps from Sara Signature Love & Romance collection. They were more new Colorista coloring books released in the last HSN show, make sure to check them out.

Wall Decor With Colorista Coloring Page

Wednesday, January 10, 2018
Today is the day, Sara and Jennifer from Crafter's Companion are going to be on air to show you all the amazing new goodies coming your way! They are so much stuffs you don't want to miss so tune in to the channel and sit tight!

Sharing a card made with the new Colorista coloring book, I need this to feel some summer heat in this winter cold. I picked softer colors for this one and love the soothing feeling it gives me. I had turned this into a card and I think I like it better on something else like a frame for my daughter's room wall decoration. It would look really nice!

Starry Christmas Night

Wednesday, December 20, 2017
Last minute card making?! What about this winter scenery card? The background can be easily achieved by adding some Sparkle marker inks on a acrylic block (choose a bigger block) and spray the scribble with water then push a piece of watercolor cardstock onto the inky surface. Apply some equal pressure on the back of the cardstock to spread the ink evenly across the paper. Add more ink and repeat step for a darker color of sky.

As for the Christmas tree, it is a cutout from a Christmas tree die by Crafter's Companion which is then smeared with some Pabeo silver wax to make it looks like snow fallen on the tree.  The rest is pretty easy to make! Hope you enjoy making this card and get it sent out on time before the holidays!

- SS Contemporary Christmas Border Die (Santa Sleigh)

Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils And Embossing

Wednesday, December 13, 2017
Another card using Sheena's embossing folder - Baubles Baby. The dimension is so beautiful I decided to color it with Spectrum Noir AquaBlend pencils. These pencils are so cool it let you add water to the colored image and create a watercolor effect! If it isn't on your Christmas list you should add this to it! :)

- Spectrum Noir AquaBlend Pencils (Sunshine, Red Berry, Sapphire, Currant, Pine Green)
